On July 30, 2025, the historic Avalon Hollywood lit up with talent, passion, and purpose during the Hollywood Independent Music Awards (HIMA). Among the evening’s many highlights, one moment stood out: FENIX360 proudly presented its first-ever Rising Inspirational Artist Award to Sophia Angelica.
The Rising Inspirational Artist Award was created to recognize the breakthrough artistry of independent musicians whose music, message, and journey offer hope and empowerment to audiences around the globe. This year’s recipient, Sophia Angelica, embodies all of those qualities and more.
An Argentine-American bilingual singer-songwriter and activist, Sophia has built her career on cross-cultural pop, heartfelt lyricism, and deep community engagement. Her artistry has earned her recognition from organizations like the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in Washington, D.C., but it’s her emotional authenticity and ability to connect across cultures that truly make her shine.
As a mission-driven creative force, FENIX360 is dedicated to uplifting independent voices that inspire change through music. Taking the stage at HIMA to personally present the award, FENIX360 honored Sophia not just for her talent, but for her ability to merge artistry with advocacy.
