FENIX360 and Gaana Team Up to Bring the Artist-Fan Economy Inside the Music App

A new direct-to-fan ecosystem is coming to one of India’s leading streaming platforms — built for artists, powered by FENIX360.

We’re excited to share some big news: FENIX360 is partnering with Gaana, one of India’s leading audio-streaming platforms, to bring content, community, and commerce together inside the Gaana app itself.

The partnership was unveiled at All About Music in Mumbai, during a session titled “Gaana & FENIX360 — Building the Artist Fan Ecosystem,” where both teams shared the roadmap for what’s coming and previewed the first features set to roll out by the end of the year.

Why This Matters

Streaming changed how the world listens to music. But for a long time, the relationship between artists and fans has largely stopped at the play button. Discovery happens on one platform, community happens on another, and monetization happens somewhere else entirely — if it happens at all.

This partnership is about closing that gap.

By bringing FENIX360’s creator tools directly into Gaana, we’re helping turn passive listeners into an active, engaged fanbase — without asking fans to jump between five different apps to support the artists they love.

What’s Coming to Gaana

At the center of the integration is a native scrolling social feed built right into the Gaana app. This gives artists a dedicated space to share visual content about their work, while fans can discover, follow, and engage with them — all without ever leaving the music experience.

Beyond discovery, the partnership unlocks a full suite of monetization tools for artists, including the ability to:

* Build their own digital storefronts
* Sell physical and digital merchandise
* Sell tickets to live shows
* Host gated and paid live streams
* Receive direct financial support from fans

Artists will also get access to a dedicated artist app, giving them multimedia upload tools, audience insights, and community management features — everything they need to understand and grow their fanbase in one place.

And because we believe artists should be the biggest winners in their own success, this rolls out under FENIX360’s creator-first monetization model, where artists keep 70% of the revenue generated through our tools.

What This Means for Artists and Fans

For artists, this is a new way to build real community around their work and create revenue streams that go far beyond streaming royalties.

For fans, it’s a shift from simply listening to genuinely belonging — following an artist’s journey, supporting their work directly, snagging exclusive merch, and getting access to shows and experiences they can’t find anywhere else.

In Their Words

“Music platforms need to evolve from places where people simply listen to music into ecosystems where artists and fans discover, engage and connect. With FENIX360, Gaana is taking an industry-first step in bringing this direct-to-fan experience into music streaming.” — Yatish Mehrishi, CEO, Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), which owns and operates Gaana

“Streaming transformed how people access music. The next opportunity is to transform what streaming can do for artists. Our partnership with Gaana is about giving artists more direct ways to connect with their audiences, build stronger communities and create sustainable revenue opportunities.” — Allan Mark Klepfisz, Founder, Chairman & CEO, FENIX360

What’s Next

This is just the starting point. As streaming platforms evolve into broader entertainment ecosystems, our goal with Gaana is to make music discovery the beginning of a much deeper relationship — one that extends into community, live experiences, and sustainable income for artists.

Stay tuned as we roll out more details on feature launches and how artists can get started.
